Help With Hids

Help With Hids

I have a 2007 f150 fx4 I installed a h13 hid kit in the headlights and a h10 kit in the fog lights , The headlights are a bixenon kit and work fine until I turn on my fog lights that brings up the light on the dash saying a light is out and the headlights go up to high beam they wont switch down to low beam with turning off the fog lights then they switch back down also the head light stay on when I turn the headlight switch down to parking lights keeping the fog lights on without the fog lights on everything works fine don,t understand whats going on talked to the dealer I bought them from and they have no clue I don,t know much about eletrical systems but I checked every connection and everything seems right don,t know what to do need help

From: Where do you live?
you share a ground with the high beams...you need to separately ground the fogs...there is a writeup on the forums as to how to go about that....ill try searching quick

no i haven't installed mine yet...but alot of ppl do...its b/c the fogs and the headlights share the same ground and it messes stuff up with the hids....just do that little fog light mod and you should b good to go
