How can I decrease the wind noise in the sunroof...
I have the electric rear sliding window so I can decrease the noise that way, but sometimes I don't want all that wind. I'd like to try a wind deflector. Anyone here tried one? Aftermarket or Ford?
Thanks.
Thanks.
I found this on Ebay and have been real happy with it, clamps on, no tape. I remove in about twice a year to clean underneath. Look in the picture you can see three silver tabs, they hook under the sunroof metal lip and screw down tight with a Phillips head

Here is the seller I got mine from 2 years ago, they are still in business and were great to Ebay with.

To bad. Sounds like a good product.

Even though your off on his shipping price by exactly $38.00 I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, read line three. Standard flat rate shipping $12.00. Even if you live in Guam its only $24.95, a far cry from your suggested $50.00.

Well sorry his shipping price sets you off, next time I'll be more reserved about giving out my free advice about a product.

I found another way to fix the standard sun roof on my 2000 Expediton Eddie Bauer roof from the noisey buffeting noise.
Open the roof, stand on your seats, look at the spring loaded wind delector that pops up in front, Unscrew to two respective phillips heads screws that keeps the deflector from poping further up.
With the two straps detached, flip the defl;ector all the way up and over so that is is facing the rear. It will now slide out of its hinges.
You need to get a bend in that deflector, so that it arches above the roof line. I took mind and slight bent it around my stomach till I got a slight arch
Reverse the procedure to reattach.
Hopefully you tested it at 60 miles per hour before you did it, and now the buffeting noise should be gone
