Question Buffing Tail lights?

Ok, I just got done spraying down my tails with nightshades and I'm pretty impressed with how well I managed to get an even coat on them. Only problem, even with the clear coat they still show up a bit matte looking.

I've heard buffing them is the best and obviously recommended step in tinting the lights, but I don't own any sort of power buffer. Should I invest in one, or just take it to some detail shop to be done with real quick?

Another thing, I've heard it's best to let the paint cure for 30 days and all before buffing. I don't mind waiting, but is this advisable?

One last thing, if I do buy a buffer, any recommendations or which buffing product I should get?
