Painting stock(STX) chrome?

My rims and nerf bars look like this. http://www.texasautowholesale.net/03FordF150STX.shtm

Im wanting to paint both(nerf bars and rims black). I dont see anyone else that painted these like mine?? Should they be done the same way as others??

powder-coated black? What stores sell that? I was just going to use Restloum(how ever its spell) like the rest of guys on this site....

You could always Rhino/ Hercu Line your nerf bars. That is what I plan on doing. Alot of guys have painted there nerf bars, but I would think powder coat or Herculine would hold up alot better.

Who sells Rhino/Hercu?? And is that the same stuff for spray on bedliners?

Also my nerf bars have one pad(in the middle). So I dont need them to be as "resistant" as others. How would Rustoleum hold up???
