I have 3000k in my fogs and I do like them a lot. However they aren't as yellow as I hoped they would be plus I now want HID's for my headlights and would like them all to be the same...6000K.

I think i have decided to go all 6K. We don't have fog around here but maybe twice a year and I am hoping the lower mouted HID's will help alot more than the factory fogs which don't shine hardly at all. I am ordering them on ebay right now. I will post up some pics when I have them in. Thanks for the input.

I will be ordering from HID4U on ebay.

I had 8K in my last car and it really was bright but too blue. Didn't care for them too much. Got alot of compliments though.

Oh man, don't say that. I don't need these lights to be "ticket getters". I have 36 traffic tickets (all but 2 are for speeding) and was told on my next ticket (no matter the offense) I lose my license. I don't want a cop giving me a ticket for these lights. Has anyone gotten a ticket for these lights?

Then don't get HID's cause they aren't legal it just depends on the cop and the area you live and how much they enforce it.

I called a friend who is a police officer and he said they are illegal, I knew that, but they are not consiedered a "moving violation" so I won't lose my license. They class it the same as a broken tail light. He said I would probably just get a warning if I ever got caught at all. Yay for me.

I really don't drive bad, I just get caught all the time. I have taken defensive driving alot. I only have 6 points right now. Thanksfully I spaced them out. I think October of this year 2 of the points will come off. I got caught street racing 55 minutes after the law went into effect and almost lost my car. I am by no means a street racer. I am 36 years old. I just like to play with the street racers because I used to have a car that could beat most anything out there, atleast in my neighborhood.

Actually, your exactly right. I got out of all but the last two. The last two cost me 1150.00 to get out of. No attorneys fees either. I got nailed hard on them. That taught me my lesson. I am about 2 years out from my last ticket. If you don't have to pay to play then you continue to play. I had to pay so I stopped playing.
