Tape off anything you don't want painted, put some newspaper (or other paper) to avoid overspray (especially if there is any wind, the paint can end up in places you don't want), clean it with some alcohol, then paint the suckers with Krylon Fusion spray paint (the satin one, not the glossy cap at Walmart). Take your time, and go coat by coat. If you want, you can also get some Krylon clear (I got the one that doesn't say anything on the cap) and do a coat of two of that.

Here's my dad's tail gate handle, and part of the bed railing cover.

Hope that helps.

I used the dyes from this site http://showroomnewproducts.com/ & they worked great. I would be afraid to spray paint it for fear of getting itall over the paint job. I applied this with a foam paint brush & it worked great.

lol. just seems to me it would be alot safer(smarter) to take everything off the truck and paint it. that way you dont risk any overspray on the paint

They come off?:o Guess I didn't try taking them off.

But yea, take off whatever you can. It's much easier to paint stuff like that.
