Question Fog Light Tint?

Ok, I'm considering a few possible ideas for tinting my 2008 F-150 FX4 fog lights. Originally I had considered buying a smoked tint film kit, but there doesnt seem to exist any precut models out there for the 2008 round fog lights. On the other hand, I could just use VHT Nightshades. It looks easy enough from the multiple posts on it, but I've never done it, so it might be tricky. I guess it couldn't be that bad considering the fog lights are so small to begiin with.

Anywho, post back with your tips on tinting fog lights.

go to www.rvinyl.com and e-mail them about if they offer round...i dont see why they wouldnt/couldnt just cut them round since they cut them for most cars in all different sizes.

Ok, I guess I'll give it a shot and see what happens. Do you personally have the rvinyl kit and if so, hows it working out for you? What did you do for your tails and 3rd brake light too? got pics?

How much light output is cut with one of these tint kits?

As for Niteshades, I don't know if I would use them on a clear plastic. You'd probably be able to see any imperfections (holding the sprayer too long in one spot, or not long enough, etc) once you turn the lights on.

I have a buddy with a body shop and he regularly paints tail lights and fog lights. He uses clear coat paint but puts a small amount of black tinter into it. He charges $40 for a pair. It's probably the best option I have seen. Alot of show trucks are tinting out all of there lights. You should be able to get you local body shop to paint you lights.
