To be honest, I don't really know. But if I took a stab in the dark, I think the lock actuators are what automatically locks the doors ones the truck starts moving (after having been shifted out of park). I know I have this feature on my '99 F150, so if I had to take a stab in the dark, I would guess that. But if you want a positive answer, either someone else will have to help or you will have to look it up somewhere, because I am useless and don't wanna look it up now.

Could not be any worse than any cheap factory offered power windows or power lock options.

Go for it. As much as the factory stuff goes kaput, you have nothing to lose.

Unless i did everything wrong. I bought a kit off ebay. It looks like the same as your looking at and it was bad. It was real slow and got stuck a lot. It then over heated. It was a waste of money. I also have a 05 so it may have heavier windows or something. Not sure. Wasnt worth it for me.
