Niteshade help!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just put the first coat on and it looks gold, not black?

If you spray it on some white paper, it should like dark, almost a very dark blue.

Actually, it's more like a lite gray. Lemme post a pic. Also a pic of the can, just to make sure you have the right stuff



Here's what mine looked like after one coat:


Hope this helps.

If this isn't what yours looks like, I'd wet sand the suckers.

My can is the same, but the white paper is off. I think I got a wacky can. I'll get pics

I don't know what to tell you. The stuff's probably already dried on. Connect them up real quick to see what color they light up?

Maybe it's a different formula?

I don't really care what color they light up, it will look dumb if they aren't BLACK. I'll have to get a new can and start over.

try another coat, i wanna say that on the clear it does apear gold at first, i did my reverse unlike most on here and it looks like your doing a clear light

did you shake the can for 1 minute before spraying? it looks like its not mixed enough

You need to sand them some more. Doesn't look like the paint is adhering very well.

Is it cold out?

Makes a big difference.

Yes i shook, Yes its 58 degrees in my basement, Yes i sanded till dull with 800. What now????

Added some heat and another coat, its turning black but i think too black. Will have to wait till dry then plug in and try. I still think that the color coming out of the can is a greenish gold, not black!!
