My Expedition is a 97, so the grille is one-piece... I saw a guy running a "ghost grille" as he called it. Basically, the stock grille was cut away and some type of material was used at the back... kind of looked like a 1st gen escalade grille, and looked extremely cheap to do. I'm not sure how it'd look with the one piece being cut away, so that's the point of this thread. I've searched here (and google), looked at the tech articles, and looked through the tech articles of the sites linked at the bottom of the tech articles page.

On a side note... the grille that's two piece--the grille surround and the grille insert... what years were these factory, and will they swap onto the older one-piece setups as a direct replacements?
