Hey im going to buy myself a winch and i have seen where i can mount it to my reciever but i rather have it up front and was wondering how can do this, has anyone else done this. I have a 05 f150 and have a brush guard and im wondering whats the best way to go and looks good. thanks

 

you can go a couple ways. warn makes a hidden winch system for that year. but its a special made winch and can only hold 50ft of cable altho it looks damn sexy. or you can get a front mount reciever hitch and use that. and finally warn makes a brushguard you cna use to mount a winch. but that system still uses a front mount reciever

 

Whats the front mount reciever, will it affect my brush guard?
