Chrome Door Handles

Hey guys, I was looking on ebay and i found some chrome door handles that are really only about 20 or 30 bucks more than the stick on with tape chrome covers. I'm assuming it would always be better to replace a part, but what I am wondering is do the metal chrome door handles ever get very hot in the sun and when ya got open up your door, ya burn yourself?

What do you guys suggest I go for?

Thanks

no never got burned. I have the stick ons and love them I paid $100 bucks for all four and tail gate off ebay the back of the door handle is still plastic which is where you grip it the most anyway.

I saw these as well and was thinking about purchasing them. They look like they are the factory style handles with the smooth black background and the chrome plated handle. It was about $100 for all three.

Anyone have any input on the advantage of getting replacement door handles rather than the stick on?

I would think the chrome would reflect the heat away and they would actually be cooler than the black plastic factory handles.
