f150 badges
well, just in case there are some of you that want to chrome your side badges on your truck. I did the search and found acetone method and press. washer method. neither worked very well for me. yesterday I went to advanced and got some tal-strip II aircraft coating remover and boy does this stuff work. sprayed it on one of them off the truck. and withen a min the 5.4 under the f150 had melted away and slid off the badge. some bad **** guys. just spray in on and in a min you just have to wipe the black stuff off and clean the badge.
I used that stuff to strip the paint off of my mountian bike frame... it does work, but it would be tough to do with the emblems on the truck.
For those wanting to know, I stripped the paint off of my MTB frame so I could have it custom painted... in the end, I hand polished it to a mirror like finish working up to 2,000 grit sandpaper, then the brown bag and soapy water method, followed by some serious polishing work. It looks good though.
