I just got mine back from the paint shop - the picture's not the best but it's an almost perfect match. I had to give them a piece of the interior that was that odd dark grey color, so I gave them the cover off the side of the seatbelt thing on the seat.

 

Nope, none left. No paint codes either, thats why I had to have it custom mixed.

For some strange reason, FoMoCo decided to not release the paint code for that particular color. About 2 years ago, when I had it done, I searched auto parts stores, dealerships, body shops, etc. and nobody had the paint code for that color. Finally, after trying a automotive piant supply store, they called their supplier, and was told that ford never released the code. They made up a small batch just for me, they used a portable optical color scanner to get close, then they tweaked it to get the color just right. I can tell you that it is basically silver with a little black and a little tan, the exact proportions of each I don't know. I also don't know if they used any other colors in the mix. Check with body shops, etc in your area and see if they can help you out, who knows, maybe the paint code is out now.

 

How much did they charge you?

 

Thats what i wanted to do to my bezel. they dont make that color? where did you take it to get made?

does anyone else have the same problem with their edge pod. when ever i hit a bump in the road it well turn off, and i have to push it in and adjust a few times, before she comes on??
