4.2==========I have seen tool box's that go along the side. I think it was at "Pep Boys". Also a good machine shop can help you. Good Luck.

yeah i was also thinking maybe getting a box that would fit between the rollbar... one that mounts directly to the bed!

You answered your own question, you like the roll bar better,it don't matter what other people like, its your truck, they make a box that will fit allmost perfectly in between the roll bar,the one you mentioned, that sits on the floor of the bed,I personally dont like a box that can be seen sitting on top of the rails. But its your truck.

The toolbox will not fit with the rollbar and the rollbar will not fit with the toolbox.

One solution, different toolbox. Go to a place like tractor Supply company or some other place that has different sizes of tool boxes. You'll find one that will fit in between the rollbar that you can use.

i think a good compromise would be a headache rack(i think thats what its called). itll give you a place to put lights give you somthing tall behind the window and still allow you to use a over the rail toolbox, just slide the box back a little. theres a caltrans f150 that parks next to me that has it, it looks pretty good

All good ideas. I think double tube roll bars look tacky personally. I'd go with a single bar, and then a box skinny enough to fit between the bars.

I agree with you attworth, the double tube roll bars are kinda late 70's early 80's to me.The headache rack,I say no to it unless you have ladder racks and you work out of it.
