Im thinking about painting my Roush "chrome over plastic" grill black. Has anyone done this? How do you think it will look? Also, how much do you think a shop would charge?

Just looked at your gallery.

I think the chrome grille brakes up your truck nicely.... I'd leave it.

I think if you were to be able to paint it [not sure if it'll hold] it may be a little too much black.

Why not try breaking that grille up a tad with a Ford oval?

Of course, it's just my opinion...

 

I would black it out. Remove the grille and paint it yourself. I'm sure that rattle cans would work well for just a little grill. Just make sure to prep before you paint.
