Mirror Swap Issue

Hey guys I've been lurking for awhile since I got my truck and have already used alot of info I got on here. Over the weekend I did the Lt Handles swap( actually they were lariat chrome pkg handles) which went well and I now have a key pad which is awesome. The key pad plugged right in and I had the code in my owners manaual and it works perfectly. I went to swap my mirrors over to the deluxe pkg mirrors with the chrome caps and everything plugged right in but the turn signals did not work. I have read in other threads that they are usually a plug and play setup. Is my truck not compatible or do I have to put in a fuse or something? The mirrors are off and 06 lariat if that makes a difference.

thanks for the help

Some seem to have the wires, most do not is my understanding... Here are two threads that will help you:

Oh, and you might need to search more, but I thought someone told me that the wiring pinout on the 08 mirrors was different than previous years, but I may be mistaken.

from what i understand in all truck the wires should be there but need to be extended from the kick panel to the mirror.

You can hit the turn signal circuits coming down from the steering column easy enough, page 10 of this pdf will show you wire colors. (The whole pdf is handy for working on your mirrors, removing door panels, etc.) But there is no extension from those circuits to the mirrors prewired unless you ordered that option in the first place.
