I personally would like to see the comparison pics between the boner and the slider hid bulbs. that cutoff isnt too bad, its not perfect but not half as bad as some I've seen, I think with proper aiming you should be aight

i don't see how fordboy's lights are so dangerous...i have factory lights, the only damn thing i can see on the road is the other people's distorted faces when my lights are in their eyes...my factory lights are pretty damn dangerous. cutoffs arn't that great anyways they look really good and clean but i still get blinded by bmw's when they hit bumps in the roads...i plan on getting a kit thats similar hopefully really soon because i am getting tired of not being able to see anything...

P.S. putting those little projectors in our big headlight housings look like a$s...i'd rather keep my factory lights and not be able to see than to have some ricey lookin headlights. i'd rather put those into my fog light holes.

The sad part is... that beam starts about 10 feet infront of my truck, and when im sitting inside of it... I cant see any un-lit ground...

I hope noone under 4' decides to stand infront of my truck before I take off...

I told the guy 8000k. He may have sent me 10k though...

I had a previous set of 8k's and they werent nearly as blue...

By the way, the beam WOULD be wider and more spread out.... But I have aftermarket headlights and the inner-side reflector that is supposed to be chrome and give you light from the side is painted black and not reflecting any light....

Hey, If I just got a projector headlight, for example this one...
(I would need to find on I like...)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-05...spagenameZWDVW

And used my hid kit, wouldnt it be just the same as retro fitting?

that housing has the POOREST pattern I have ever seen, somone here already tryied using hids with that headlight and the result was the worst beam ever, think huge spotlight

lol, nice....

well.... what about this one, I havent heard anything bad about it... The other headlight has a tiny projector lens insedie of a reflector style housing. This one is just one larger projector lens. Any thoughts?

probably going to perfom worse than what you got now, cheap aftermarket projector headlamps suck, your best bet is the hella headlamps

I have those Headlights... black with halo ring... They are brighter than crap with just the silver stars in...No way in hell would I put a PnP HID set in there... They aren't the best setup either cause they leak; mine didn't, but others members did...

I usually run around town with the Halo's on and my fogs running... I have the 9005 in the fog so they are pretty bright...

I'm getting the tools and supplies for the retro soon... I'll post pics along with the project...

PnP hid? And why not? if they helped with your halogen... I figured the only difference with the projector and the reflector housing would be a smoother more wide-spread beam? Isnt that the purpose of the lens?

hi, here are a few output pics of my setup in case anyone is interested. These are valeo projectors. Sorry for the blurry pics from my piece of crap camera, I will see if I can borrow my sister's camera over the weekend. Also I realize that the passenger side projector needs to be rotated a little bit to straighten the cutoff.
