I have the Hella LED lights and they are awesome, they also look the most like original equipment, no funny tumors or ricey knockoff lights.
Picked mine up from the Tirerack about 4 months ago no problems at all!

Check them out here.

I'v got the Hella LED tail lights on my 07 fx4 screw no problems lots of compliments they are really nice LED's and they don't have that pimped look you also get the 3rd brake light. I got them from tirerack for $265.00 shipped for $281.00.

hpg423,

I think you're going to find that the LED's available as both complete tail light assemblies and just plain replacement bulbs are nowhere near as intense as the ones on your police cruiser. Yes, you will see improvements in current draw (very low) and illumination rate (very quick), but they're just not as bright as your cruiser's light bar. Some of that is due to government regulations on standard vehicle lighting - as you're probably aware.

How does the reverse lighting work with these? Ive been looking at getting some but I have 3% on the windows and need something bright. Are they LEDs as well or do they use the stock lights? How is the light output?
