I called getfordparts.com and they said that you have to paint the HD grill...is this true? I don't want to do any painting. Im either going to get the HD grill or Roush along with the HD OEM headlights...but like I said if I have to paint the HD Im going Roush. Any info would be appreciated.

Also, how easy is the grill instal?

 

They're talking about the grille surround. With the Roush, you use the existing surround already on your truck, but you can do the same with the HD grille.

 

OK. I have a black surround on mine and thats the way I want it. So if I get the HD Ill be fine....no painting?

 

From what I understand, yes, no painting. Definitely no painting with the Roush grille.

The old HD grille came with a black painted surround, and that's what needs to be painted on the new ones. I believe it to be this way since there are more colors of HD f150's now.

Yes, there's a chrome over plastic Roush grille and a billet Roush grille. Most have the chrome over plastic Roush grille. I do.
