Help with speaker location.....

Here is a question for fellow fireman, EMS or anyone else that may have some suggestions. For those that don't know, I am the chief of my volunteer fire dept. here in upstate NY. In NY, chief's are allowed to run a emergency siren on their person vehicles for repsonding to calls.

I just purchased a new comapct speaker that measures appro. 6"x6"x3". The speaker that I currently have, is installed partailly behind the bumper and some of the sound is blocked. I am trying to figure out the best spot to iiinstall it so that the sound will not be blocked too much, yet still give me a stealth look.

Post up your ideas everyone

Yeah I know that, but I am trying to figure out a spot so that it would be 'protected' from salt spray during the winter. I also have grill light that are mounted on top of the support piece that is in front of the radiator. I could possibly relocate the grill lights further out to the sides, but the height in this area maybe a little tight for the speaker.

ya. most ppl around here usually have them right behind the grille(next to their lights) or on their grille guards. i have mine mounted in the bed, right behind the passenger seat. but thats because its too big to fit anywhere else
