Installing Nerf Bars

Bought nerf bars and no instructions on how to install them. They are for a 97 f150 extended cab 4x4. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Don't believe they are frame mount but not 100% on that.

Are those the Westin Nerf bars? I have a set and they do mount to the frame. I think you can downl oad the install instructions from their site.

if they are Weston, they mount to the frame- there are rubber grommets that you remove from the frame rails- the brackets mount here.
I will see if I still have my instructions at home, if so- I may be able to scan them in here for you- that is if you cant get them online

There is the link to the instructions, just pick out which type of truck you have. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them.

If you look at the picture, there are 4 plates with bolts on them. You pull off the tape covering the back of the rocker panels and the slide in. Then bolt the bracket to that with the sheet metal of the body sandwiched in between.

Didn't get from truckparts311 but I think I understand now where to mount them. They didn't come with straps either so I will have to fabricate some of those.
