Dash Lights

Ok so i've got into my dash and found out the there is a blue filter behind all the lights which make everything appear to be green. ( i'm talking about the gauges). Now i was wondering if i wanted to make all the green lights blue, if all i had to do was remove the filter and replace the bulbs with blue ones? Any answers?

Just guessing here...

Yes, that will make the lights blue (blue lights + no filter = blue lights)

one concern - without the filter the light might not be evenly spread out? Perhaps the filter helps to evenly dissipate the light around the dials. Just a thought...

I'd be curious just to know the answer to this question. If you remove the filter please post your results.

Please post your results as i was wondering about this myself. Did you check the power windows (if your truck has them) lights too?
