The piece of trash plastic tailgate rail cap, that has been broken pretty much since the first week I had my truck, apparently flew off the other day on the interstate. Does anyone know where (other than the dealership) I can find either a factory replacement tailgate cap or a full set (sides and tailgate) in black diamond plate or metal to replace this junk. The plastic was faded already which again happened pretty much after the first week, so I'm not real inclined to drop any amount of money on more cheap plastic covers, unless I can find a real good deal on just the tailgate cover. Can anybody help? Incidentally, its a black 2004 FX4 supercrew.

i think ford is your best option, not sure how the factory cap flew off, i removed the side rails off my 02 to put after market side rails on and that was a b*tch pulling them off! maybe try a junk yard???
