I can tell the difference from here, but that's beside the point. Those look good.

I didn't pay $300 for my HD headlights BTW.

Man, I'm sorry if my comment about someone elses headlights saying they look good offended you.

If you need to see the difference I'll show you. It's plain as day.

My old Depo headlights, similar to a PTM stock headlight.

HD headlight, notice the black pupil.

See the difference? Now I expect an apology, youngun.

Well, I have 3 sets of headlights now, the stockers, the Depos (though the lenses are crazed and they leak) and the HD's. Honestly, the HD's and depos look like the bezels have just been painted black like the PTM headlights. One day I plan on doing the stockers PTM as well. I was going to paint that little center deflector too like the HD's.

250" for 10 min. then start by prying a corner apart use gloves there hot. After the corner starts to open just grap and pull apart takes some muscle one lens I had to reheat to open then you clean the factory sealent from around the base had to reheat a little to do that too.
The basel you paint comes out with 2 screws and the amber lens pops out , sand & paint I used satin black matt finish , go to local auto store and buy some Black RTV Sylicone reseal around the edge.
I used clamps to hold the lens to make sure I had a good seal.

There is some good treads open on here if you search with better directions and pics ,its fairly labor intensive no the lens diden't melt or warp. It will save you a decent amount of money to do them your self.

here is one thread https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ley+headlights
