Hey guys i was wanting to put a new grille on my truck...mines an XLT, and i was wanting a HD grille or an FX4 grill...what all is involved in changing grilles out and also whats the best place to find one on the internet??...

 

it is just an unbolt and switch and bolt back on. i would try ebay for the hd grille or maybe fx4 grille. f150store.com has the fx2 grilles. you might be able to get a fx4 grille from here in the classifieds.

I'll sell ya my old FX4 grill for a good price. Make me an offer. If your truck is black the swap is very easy. If it's any other color you have to take the outside border off which but I've heard that's not too hard.

 

^ i would but i think im leaning more towards the HD grille....thats whats on yours right??...that grille is badass looking...where did you get it?

i've been wanting to paint my grill black so it wouldn't look like the faded black plastic. what is involved with taking the actual plastic grill out?

 

if it is the grille that is in your sig, that honeycomb center section just pops out...well of course you are gonna need to be carefull poping it loose since it is plastic.
