fish tank in the dash

Anybody know anything about trimming out the dash for a fish tank? I saw a truck with a fish tank in the dash on the passenger side and fell in love with that idea. i know the air bag would have to come out and im ok with that. i have an O4 supercrew that i plan on keeping for a long time. anybody know anything bout how to do that or a site on here that might could help me? my dad owns a body shop so i got sum help if i at least have a clue about installing one.

Not trying to disrespect your idea, but are you planning on keeping actual live fish in the tank? The passenger compartment of any car or truck undergoes some pretty extreme temperature changes. I'll admit the idea sounds interesting, but I have a feeling you're going to end up with a bunch of dead fish. (Insert nasty dead fish joke here)

I like the idea of a rollbar made from a Habi-Trail.

Since your gonna take the airbag out, why dont you just go ahead and custom install a HiDef LCD screen there, and you could replay a DVD with a fish tank scene on it. It would provide the same entertainment and no dead fish. You could have sharks swimming in that thing. LOL. This might be a good alternative..

???

Safer for the fish, perhaps, but neither a fish tank nor an LCD screen makes an acceptable airbag substitute for your passengers.

Liability/legality for removing this safety feature... especially in an accident?

I would imagine almost all states are the same way, but in Georgia it's illegal to disable or remove the airbag of a vehicle which came from the factory with them (easy way for me to say every vehicle made after xx-xx-xxxx, I don't have the specific state code available but I've read it before).

well i saw it done in one truck and the fish were good and alive. I already thought about the temperature thing but im sure there is a way to keep the water cool. i saw it in a chevrolet truck and it looked real good. plexy glass (i think is how u spell it) would be what it was made of. im just not sure how to trim it out and all.
