Cool Installed the Silverstars.

So I went to the parts store (My buddy works there so I got a huge discount) and purchased the main headlights. Installed them at sunset so I could see the difference and man, I was blown away.

It practically made my foglights look like simpsons animations. So that goes without saying, I went and bought the foglights too =p

At normal prices, it would have cost me around $80. With the friend's discount (He entered them into the computer as open packages), I ended up paying 50$ for the entire set.

Yea madcat, I think you'd be quite surprised with how the foglights look after installation too!

Just make sure no moisture gets into the housing... Mostly a worry with the fog lights. I've gone through 2 + silverstar bulbs in the headlights and I'm convinced it's due to moisture.

Glad they look good. I can't stand driving a car that doesn't have the Ultra White Headlights like silverstars, PIAA's, or HIDs... They just seem dark and yellow Now you can never go back!

Cheers

Fyi: They do not make the 'Ultra' bulb for the 2004-2008 Ford Truck.
check this thread out on the subject:

also, here at the Silverstar website, you'll notice that the ultra is not listed for the 04 and up trucks, it is the 9008 type 'H13' bulb :

I know this is going to sound stupid:

I have SilverStar headlights. I don't have fog lights.

What are the yellow lights on the inside of the the headlights next to the grill? Can you get SilverStars for those?
