Curious?

I dont see how people with lightning headlights install a H.I.D. ballast and bulb and wont have problems with glare or black spots, and if someone installed lightning headlights on their not lightning model they would run into problems with glare and black spots. The headlights and fog lights on my truck are starting to yellow and i really like the look of clear head and fog lights and i want brighter lights too. Xenarcs only come around once in a blue moon so i'm stuck at what to do.

Buy a set of OEM Lightning headlights, $600, but what the hey it's only money. The reason Lightning headlights like TYC are so cheap is because they don't use the same high quality acyrlics like OEM, it's also transitioned into reflector patterning, so either live with it or don't, I have pics of what the Depo lights pattern is with Halogen and I'll have pics of HID this week. You've read what Bunthy said, you sacrifice some quality of light for looks, the reason the stock ones work best is because of all those reflectors, think about how diffused light gets going through those versus a clear lense.

So is there any difference between the O.E.M lightning housing and the Xenarc housing? That seems like the road i want to take right now so that i get the looks and lighting that i want.

Yes, search for Bunthy's or Rockpick's(care & detailing forum) gallery, The xenarc's look kinda like the Lightning headlight, but with a lot more reflective surfaces in the housing, I don't like them very much at all.

or if you like chrome,

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/97-03...QQcmdZViewItem

they come with a relay harness, and the sellers have the high and low beam bulbs mixed in their description, it's the opposite, 9005 is high beam projector, if you look at my pics you'll see why.
highbeam

low beam

if you were too lazy to look fo RP or Bunthy,
