if you want a legal and safe headlight that wont melt your wiring harness then go with the sylvania sylverstar or sylverstar ultra's...the sylverstars can be found at walmart and any autoparts stores...the ultras can be found at autozone and oreillys for sure, im not sure about other autoparts stores...the ultras are supposed to be brighter and whiter but i have no firsthand experience with them

brightest legal lights are probably gonna be the silverstar ultras, unless you want to step up to a 150-300$ HID kit

anything you buy in a store in your local state shouldnt be illegal

the ultra will not show up blue at all..only a brighter white than the sylverstar... if you want blue bulbs look around on ebay for the xd5 bulbs...i had them in my old truck and they were bright as hell but melted my factory harness..i replaced them with an upgraded harness and they were good to go, blue as all get out, and brighter than anything out...they are sortof hard to find though

blue bulbs = driving blind in the rain.....

for brighter lights [under $40] in terms of lumens go silverstar or GE nighthawks.

ebay didnt turn up much on those xd5 bulbs that i mentioned but you can google them and find plenty of distributors...another brand to look at is Nokya, they make some very bright bulbs of high quality, and they come in different shades of blue, purple, white, and even yellow (fogs); they are average priced and can be found all over the internet, they are made in korea...Polarg is a midprices bulb but is of better quality than the Nokya; they are made in Japan and are very bright with great quality. Raybrigs are the best bulb available but are fairly expensive for a non-HID bulb, but they are very bright and are of the highest quality when it comes to headlight bulbs (they are standard equipment for vehicles made in Japan for Japan; ie non export vehicles). Polarg and Raybrig bulbs are both very hard to find, ive ordered them several times for my vehicles and for friends thru the website http://www.coolbulbs.com; they also sell HID kits on that site. Great customer service and quick delivery, and I never had a bulb fail from them.

Thanks I am going to order them. Which ones do you recommend for the 6k, 9007, H11, H13, H3, or H7.

If you have a 97-03 you need to order the 9007's because that is the bulb design and those are the ones that fit..
