What kind of paint to use

Im painting a factory grille, what kind of paint should i use?

I painted the factory grill in my 2002 ranger, and I used krylon for plastic, you can buy it at walmart. I put on 3-4 coats and 2-3 coats of clear. It was done 6 months ago and still looks as good now as when it was first done.

Well i decided to take it to the ford dealer and have the body shop spray it. that way its the right color and quality. I guess its funny that the grille from ford is $400 pre-painted, but buying it from the parts dept. for $125 and then carrying it 50ft to the body shop and having them paint it for $75. Ill post pics once installed!!!!!!!!

what color was it before you painted since you bought it new? and what color did you have it painted?

Here it is, fresh from the paint booth. Im thinking of either taking the lower billet one out, or painting it black too, suggestions????

It was just plastic, like a grey.
