Just bought an '07 SuperCrew. Planning on getting vent shades for it. My local guy who's opinion I usually trust said he has had some trouble with the in-channel style shade catching the window when you close them. I didnt have this trouble on the 04 Ranger I traded in. WOndering if anyone has the in-channel style or know of someone having trouble with 'em . I prefer this style as it has a better fit than the ones that are taped on the outside of the door. Thanx for the input

 

i'm with you...i have an o6 with in-channels....don't like the tape on...i was told the same thing before i got mine....i work with EMS and we have two ambulances , one is a 92 and one is a 98 and both have inchannel AVS...no problems

 

Mine catches now and then but does not affect the shade at all. The edge of the window willcatch when I roll up. Just a loud noise that will scare the s%$^ out of you sometimes.

My buddy and I threw a set of "In Channels" on his 07 Lariat, they were the OEM ones. For whatever reason they didn't come on the truck when he bought it.

ANyway, no problems for him thus far, it's been about 4 months.
