hey guys thanks a lot!
bird, these lights were actually a do it yourself mod. if you research it you'll find a ton of threads. I baked them in the oven at 300deg for 10 mins and then SLOWLY pried them apart, it took a few times back and forth in the oven... i used duplicolor primer and dark shadow gray (perfect match) for the bezel. i opted to use a thin coat over the side marker, so you can still see the light at night, just not in the daytime, and i painted the inner ring of the turn marker (it doesnt seem to be any dimmer at night). and finally i switched the headlamps for sylvania silverstars and the turn bulb for the 3157ast by sylvania, thanks for checkin it out and if you guys have questions holler at me ill fill you in. i just wanted to go for a different look that i havent seen yet.

Cost:
Paint 10
Head bulbs 20
Turn bulbs 12

Time: 4-5 hours

in a way you do glue them back... you reheat the lens and housing to warm up the existing glue and press them back together (not easy) its nearly impossible to get them to match up so most people use black or clear silicone, you can get it at walmart or homedepot for about 5 bucks, just plain window sealant... works well, hope that helps. thanks for looking!

i thought you did the do it yourself bake them in the oven technique, i really like yours with the Sylvania silverstar light bulbs. i am going to do the same thing except black cause my truck is black.
how hard was this to do?
what type and brand paint did you use?
and what silicone did you use?
is their anything to be careful of? so i dont melt my lights

i would say on a scale of 1-10 the light mod is a 6 or 7, it depends on skill level.
paint was duplicolor from autozone, matched for ford shadow gray
bulbs also from autozone/pepboys
300 degrees for 10 minutes to warm up the glue, STAY NEAR THE OVEN and watch carefully each oven is different, ive heard some guys use 250deg... it may take several tries. be careful pulling them apart, its not easy, so take your time and reheat as necessary, there are a TON of posts on the site if you do a forum search, i used GE clear silicone, and did a few beads to make sure it was watertight, no problems so far... hope that helps.
