Nope. They come factory painted on FX2's, but that color is not an option. I bought the black ones (below) and then a few months later I saw my first FX2 with the painted side skirts and that's where I got the idea. I haven't seen another Lariat with them painted like that.

Well, it's just an Autometer tranny temp gauge. I don't have the part number for that.
I paid to have the temp gauge installed but have since traced the steps they did to install it as I gave them the idea to put it there. They had never installed one there and always done the column mounts.
This will only work if you have a 2wd because normally that is where the 2wd/4wd switch is. On mine I had the gay useless coin holder. As if you didn't already have enough coin storage in the center console Ford figured you would like to carry even more change and have all the coins fall out taking corners.
Anyhow, you just pop out the little coin thing with a screwdriver and then dremel out a tad to make the gauge fit. Then just run power and run the other line through the cab and underneath to the side mount in the tranny. That's where mine is hooked up.

yeah, i may actually just lower the rear instead. I'm not sure how "empty" the wheel wheels would look with a front lift, and i've heard that the front leveling kits make for a crappy ride anyway (anybody got pics of a 2wd lariat with 2" leveling kit?). plus i never really use the truck for hauling or towing, im just a big SOB and needed the room of a truck... we'll see... might just have to try both routes!

That cable is for the 2wd/4wd switch on 4wd vehicles. Although the truck is not 4wd the harness is still there.
