hey guys, got a buddy looking for some custom paint ideas. the trucks modded. HEAVILY modded with a whipple soon on the way. has replacement front fenders, new hella grill with lights, everything you can get. what kind of custom ideas can ya'll think of?

I have done a few renderings although i dont do it professionally (wish i had the time) and i actually just did one for a friend here locally thats shooting a truck in a few months. They are going for a cover truck on mini-trucking. I put thier ideas to paper and made a digital one too. Both the painter and the owner loved them.

I also came up with a concept for another fellow forum member over at Blazinlow that he loved and got it sprayed on his truck. i can link you to his custom paint thread. I also still have all the concept pics and the pics he sent me over after the paint job.

I can also show you a few examples of my work, digital or handrawn or both.

there was a sweet paint job on a car on PIMP MY RIDE.... it was a midnight blue with lightening strikes comeing from top center.... i really liked it....

 

i hope you aren't talking about the nissan (?) with the robotic triangle inside and cotton candy machine in the trunk... the paint job was kinda lame imho...

 

yeah the nissan was awful.

 

Mine (see signature) was done by Southern Comfort Conversions. Pictures are in my gallery (I can't figure out how to add a full size picture to this post). I've seen this type of paint job done in blue to black, black to silver, and red to a cranberry-like color. Lots of good ideas out there if he is willing to pony up the dough for a good custom paint job.
