alright i live in MI so my nerf bars got blasted with salt for over 5 months a year for however long they were on the truck (bought it used). they had some rust on them so i took them off and had them sandblasted. which after a bit of confusion cost me $70. i was planning on having them sprayed with rhino or line-x, but when i called a couple of dealers they said it was not worth it that they rust from the inside out and will be rusted again in a year. So now i have a set of bare metal nerfs and am not sure what to do. my options are:

a) have them rhino lined at $85 a piece and put them back on and hope they hold up for at least a good 5 years.

b) sell my current nerf bars on ebay for at least the 70$ i paid to have them blasted and buy either stainless nerfs or plastic running boards.

right now im leaning towards selling and buying stainless, but im not positive how the stainless will hold up, but for the price to get the old ones sprayed i can buy a stainless set.

BTW the rhino dealer wanted $450 for a set of there stainless bars.
