I' am trying to find a low profile antenna like the ones you would see on the roof of a z71 Tahoe where the antenna maybe sticks up about a half inch and has a large base, I see them all the time in magazines and photographs on F150's but cant find any company's that make them, if anyone has a link or knows the name of a company PLEASE let me know because I'm tired of my huge antenna.

 

search for billet shortie antenna. Most aftermarket parts houses have them.

 

just cut your stock antenna down, boil the tip in som water for about 5-10 minutes and then just pop it off (I slid some pliers down the shaft to pop it off) then hack what you want off the shaft and super glue the tip back on
