Interior Mods???

Has anyone done any mods to their 2004+ interior (besides stereo)?

I would like to see some pics of what is available for these trucks and please let me know if you are pleased with the mod(s).

Thanks.

i painted my center section (radio and hvac area) the same as the body color and im planning on eventually pulling the dash and painting the lighter grey a silver to compliment my two tone. its a lot of work but well worth it.

I added a cheap vinyl dash kit from ebay in a machined aluminum for now till it gets painted.

I dont like chrome everywhere or big oversized chrome ***** so im leaving everything black and stock as far as ***** and shifter/turn signal handles. I do plan on doing a custom cluster surround as i have an Xlt and i wanna mimic the lariat look without actual lariat gauges.

i also added a full factory looking overhead console that stretches from the front to the back like the rail system but its all one peice and houses a 10' monitor. Its all painted to match as well.

ill get pics up later when its a nice day out.

Added a factory match wood kit to my Lariat. For some it seems to be overkill, but I like it.
Also covered the leather with custom two tone seat covers

Where'd you get the seat covers from? I was looking at getting some Katskinz. They look very good.

I was leaning towards buying these cup holder bezels in chrome to match the shifter in my FX4.

http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_cupholder.shtml

They are listed for Mustangs, but they diameter is the same on the F-150's with the center console.

Any thoughts???

If you could find the chrome ones that would be great.

LED center console mod. I did a 'how to' and posted it in the 2004 up forum.

So far have replaced the following stock light grey parts with the factory black versions; cluster surround, drivers kick panel, glovebox and center console arm rest.

Also got a leather dash cover for the passenger side dash from ebay store ranchitout_ed. Awesome guy to work with, did a custom piece to my specs that wasn't listed in his store and took less than 2 weeks from my first e-mail to him till I had the product in my hands.

Installed Black/Light Grey Neoprene Coverking seat covers. Excellent fit and amazing customer service. Had one of the velcro straps tear off during install. E-mailed their customer service and as of right now they are making an entire new rear seat section for me before I send anything back.

Of course have a stereo install planned but first have to get my LMI seat lift installed in the back so I can fit in the 12" subs.

Also working on swapping out the stock XLT cluster for a Lariat cluster.

might want think about what parts you are painting silver; that color can add a lot of glare (in the windshield) depending on the piece painted. I would unpaint a couple of factory pieces if i could!
