Help with flares...

I have purchased a set of black Lariat Fender Flares off of ebay and can't figure how the existing ones come off. Do I need to cut the plastic push screws and just buy some new ones for the new flares? Or is there a trick togetting them off? It is a 2006 F150 FX4. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks to all.

They actually have a tool for it, it looks like a screwdriver with a cutout in it. They use it on interiors to take door panels off. Any auto parts store should have it, and it is only about 3 bucks. Good Luck!

Fender Flares

I purchased mine off ebay for $70 for all four. They were off a black lariat and matched my 06 FX4 perfectly. I took them to the local body shop and they took the stocks off and put these on for $40. When I checked with the shop before I found these they told me $600 to order a smooth set and have them painted.

Someone chipped out a nice small spot in one of mine most likely with a door. I had to use a paint brush to build it up with primer and then wet sand with 2000 and then blend in with rattle can paint. What a pain in the *** but its fixed.

At least they are not too expensive on Ebay.
