Deck stripes would have looked better with the chrome.

Why do you have a SVT-F150 emblem on you fender, do you have some SVT parts in it?

I think it looks real good! The flat black on the hood and scoop reminds me a of a 69 mach I. I agree the paint to match bumper with the round fog lights would look real good. I personally wouldn't put the SVT badges on, but that's what makes your truck....yours. Looks great all in all!

Thanks, i am thinking about painting the bumpers and getting the Street Scene upper bumper cover with the 6" fog light holes. I know that it isn't a real SVT, but I am just picking up where they left off. No different then some of the F150's that people badge with Boss, like DG motorsports did, but I like the way it looks

The problem for the owners of a real SVT-F150 is some guy goes out and beats you with those badges on your truck and then goes around and tells everyone what a dog SVT-F150's are. Those of us who have paid the price to own a real SVT-F150 don't like people to pretend they have one when they don't, and it doesn't really matter if the emblems look better on your truck or not. If you don't believe me, go to the Lightning section and see what people are saying about you and a picture of your truck.

If somebody races his truck and wins thinking they beat a real SVT Lightning....means that they are half-retarted and dont deserve a drivers License. Just because he put a few emblems that you can buy offa ebay doesnt make anybody really think it is a Lightning. I think its actually pretty funny, just like when people throw SVT badges all over Mustang GT's trying to pass them for cobra's.

Personally I would put on some roush emblems instead of SVT, because roush makes a handful of products for the new f150's. Just my 2 cents lol

Does anybody think the owners of Dodge Ram SRT-10s would be upset if someone with a regular Dodge Ram decided to put SRT-10 badges and Viper emblems on it? I worked very hard to be able to buy my SVT-F150 and as a member of the real SVT community, I feel putting SVT emblems on a non-SVT vehicle is being a phony. I have no problem with guys buying Roush equipment putting on Roush decals, but that is a different story than putting on factory fender emblems. 04GTF150 has a nice looking truck and really doesn't need to cheapen it by trying to appear to be something it's not.

I do really like those rims. Are more a gun metal look or are they actually grey?

04gtf150. don't let someone on here tell you what to do to your truck. if you like the badges then i guess they are the ones with the problem. it's your truck, put any badges you want on it and don't worry about it. this has been going on since the muscle cars of the 60's and this is also why they sell replica cars(and by the way even Vipers can be built from a fibreglass kit). do you think Carol Shelby is pissed because of all the Cobra/Shelby Stang replicas floating around out there? just makes his real Cobra/Shelby's that much more desirable. it's not everyone that can afford or can even justify purchasing a Lightning truck. the Lightning is a cool vehicle but not for me, that's the reason i bought my s'crew. can't fit my 3 kids in there plus the wife. i have my 69 stang to cruise around in when i feel the need for speed. the Lightning owners should not feel like your ripping them off because that truck has proven itself on the track over and over again so i don't think a couple of badges will tarnish it's rep. some people just need to chill. (sorry said my piece now i'll shut up)

ps, by the way your truck looks good
