I'm assuming you're using the stock corner housings? If so, you wont notice a huge difference in light output. However, when the bulb is not on during the day, they make the inside of the corner lights look slightly greenish-blue... Kind of a cool effect. Also, when on, they seem to be a little more orange than the stock bulbs... A little less yellow tint if that makes sense.

However... If you have a set of clear corners (diamond cut or lightning style), they look amazing. When the lights are off, they give off a rainbow effect and when they are on, they have a nice, deep orange look.

In either case they're not much brighter, but look significantly cooler, in my opinion. It's sad to admit that I payed 20 bucks for two bulbs, but overall I'm very happy with them. For some reason people can't believe they shine orange when on and have a rainbow/clear look when they're off... Even they guy that inspected my truck didn't believe me until he turned on the blinkers!

I would definitely get them for 11 dollars! Yes, 3157 is the correct bulb.
