Headlights?
Headlights?
I have a 01 Supercrew f150, and just put the silverstar ultras in and they work great alot whiter and brighter than factory...
My question though is has anybody put Svt headlights on there standard F150 or has any-one put aftermarket ones on that look great but still retain a very good lighting range? (97-03) models prefer.

Take a look at this:

I had TYC Lightning replica headlights. They were decent, but had some hot spots. Also, they did not provide great illumination to the far right and left... Basically they provided a much narrower beam than your stock lights. On a 1 to 10 scale, I would give them a 6. As far as looks go, I would give them a 9. I sold mine on ebay and went back to a factory set off a 2003 STX so that I could have clear lenses that are made by Ford (Visteon). My recommendation is to either stay with your stock lights or get a set of real Lightning ones. However, there is a huge price difference. Check out my profile for pictures that detail everything I have said.

P.S. - The pictures I have are with Silverstar Ultras. I also tried a cheap set of bulbs and got the same results.
