Idea: Painted badges

Has anyone ever painted their badges? Im talking about the chrome ones on the fenders and on the tailgate. I think they look out of place as the only chrome thing on my truck which is a Dark shadow/black color scheme. Thinking about painting them black, anyone out there done this?

Screw painting them, peel those darn things off, I can't believe how bad the manufacturers are screwing up the rear ends on trucks now a days . I'm pretty sure on the new trucks they're aren't any holes to fill, someone could probably confirm that before you try it though.

There are holes behind the badges. Lots of folks complaining about that. I'm thinking about painting mine black too. Hopefully someone else has tried it, or else you're gonna have to be the guinea pig...

Or you could replace them with something from www.billetbadges.com

I designed this one...

have it on drivers and passengers side. Still have the stock tailgate badge, just haven't gotten around designing something for back there yet.
