i have a 2004 lariat black screw.... i was looking around on ebay and found APC LED taillights... just wondering if anyone had experience with these on the new body style trucks and if they were good quality and brighter than stock or not?

 

I think they look great because of the oem look, I am not a fan of the altezza look. The quality is A+ and easy install. Since they are leds the light that is emitted are somewhat directional and bright.
The led third brake light is definitly a must to match the new tails.
Because your truck is black you might want to check into the HELLA taillights which slightly tinted like the HDs but in leds.

 

Only input I have is DON'T BUY IPCW. I put them on my F250, and the LEDs started burning out in 2 weeks. By 3 months I had to go back to stock because over half of the LEDs on both sides were burned out. One of the main reasons I went to LED was because they lasted forever, not these.
