Paint job

I have a 98 Lariat with a black paint job and silver trim.the paint is cracking and I need to get it repainted.I was wondering if anybody knew of any good national chains that could handle it and what do you suspect it could cost?

take it to your local shops, have them estimate it.

All kidding aside, if you prep it yourself and have them shoot it, it would be pretty decent. A whole shop just to repaint would likely cost like buddy said, 3-5 grand, I myself from experience would lean on the 5 as minimum.

I just can't see putting a $5,000 paint job on a $5,000 truck.

I'm so glad Raoul brought up Earl Scheib, otherwise I would have had to do the work to bring up the ad
On a serious note, I have had a couple friends buy a presidential paint job there, and they look like crap so do don't do it unless you have to.

Thank you all for the advice,it is greatly appreciated. As for the comment about spending five grand to paint a five thousand dollar truck,I love my truck and intend to put a lot of time and money into it.To me it makes perfect sense.
