Hey this may be a stupid question...but I have heard from some people that if you pull the lights out of your truck and pull them apart you can sand-paper the inside and make it clear w/ a buffer ball. How would you get the headlight apart anyway? (By that I mean in two pieces so that you could buff them etc.)

Thanks...but how did he paint them? What do you paint them with, I didn't quite catch that part. How much would the paint be etc. And does it even make that much of a difference while driving?

 

I talked to our body shop manager about this very problem this morning. He said that they wet sand them down to a cloudly look and then clear coat them. They turn out like brand new. I'm gonna try it on my wife's LS headlights this weekend!
I should add that he's talking about the outside of the lense, not disassembling them.
