Led

My quest for help for my 2004 Supercab, NBS.

I've searched this, found plenty, and still came up confused. I want to upgrade the map and dome light bulbs to LEDs, as well as the license plate and third brake lights, and anything else that is feasible.

Can someone out there simply this and give me a list of the bulbs needed and the best place to get them?

Thanks.

I want to upgrade the map and dome light bulbs to LEDs,

Dont bother. They look brighter when you look at the bulb, but when you see how little light they actually put out you wont like it.

L.E.D.'s are good lights to use if you want to be seen, but they usually suck if your trying to light up an area with them. They work pretty good for the brake lights though.

Do it if you want, but dont be surprised when you can barely read a map with them.

Check out this thread

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...ght=dome+light

I replaced my lights with the white dome, and map lights, along with my back up lights/cargo lights and I love them... I don't like the yellow look so these gave a white, light light blue color... Plenty of pictures in this thread, if you want more i can post some...

To each thier own... but i love my led lights
