2 Paint or Not 2 Paint (The Grill)

Hey guy's,

I have an 04 Screw with the HoneyComb Style grill, Kind of wondering what she'd look like if I PTM the grill to the truck.

How hard would that really be? Would the paint hold up?
Any Pic's with painted grills would be great!

ALSO

I have been eyeballing a few Billet Grills.... not sure which direction to run here?

Does your grille have the chrome surround or is it body colored? If you paint the honeycomb center with a body colored surround it might be too much coloring.
On the other hand, I've got a new Lariat grille, chrome surround, honeycomb center that I'm willing to sell you if you're interested...

Shoot me a price!! Shiped to 38120, in Memphis TN

My truck is an 04 (New Style) and the surround is PTM with the Dull Dark Grey/Black honey comb.... Im leaning with you on the tomuch color if I paint the HoneyComb part. My truck already has the Chrome front/rear bumpers.... Now you have me trying picture that grill you have for sale
Sounds interesting.... TO DAMN MANY IDEAS, and to MANY ways to get there! lol
I have the Metalic Grey (GunPowder color) (CX paint code) Black door handels, black looking bed rail covers, diamond plate over the rail tool box, billet antenna, and the chrome front/rear bumpers. Just curious what a Chrome Grill w/surround wood look like.
Im leaning towards the HD head lights, and tail lights down the rd.

Howabout the new FX2 grill?????

Keep throwing ideas... something is bound to stick!

Hmm... chrome surround with body colored honeycomb center would certainly go with your chrome bumper.
How about $110 shipped? Sound fair? Just let me know what you decide bud.

Hmmm.... Let me make sure we are on the same page here. Your grill has the chrome surrounding..... What color is the HoneyComb? Black or is also Chrome colored?

The surround is chrome, the center is tan. A stock replacement Lariat grille. I was going to use it with my Roush grille, but I decided it would be too much chrome up front. Obviously though the center honeycomb portion can be painted to match your truck.
