Roush Hood Scoop on my 2000

I got my Roush Scoop the other day. I sat it on my truck and it fits the contours of the hood perfectly. Just need to get it painted and mounted. I think it looks great!

Tell me what you think...Wonder if I am the first to attempt this? It will defintely look better once that bug guard is removed.

Thanks! I cannot wait to get it painted and installed. I just ordered the carbon fiber insert for the scoop as well.

Nice truck BTW. I am jealous. You have the gauges I want. They look awesome.

How long did it take to install them?

Thanks.

Total install took me around an hour. It came with all the instructions needed to do the install.

I did not see any gaps. Seems to fit very snug.

If you look around on Ebay you can get that scoop at a real good price. You can also get it prepainted to match most of the 04' and newer colors, so all would be left to do is install.

John

I got if off of Ebay for $105.99 plus $11.95 shipping. I have yet to get it painted or mounted.

I also bought the Roush Carbon fiber insert from Ebay for $34.99 plus $7.00 shipping.

And I bought a Ford Racing Billet emblem for my grille from Ebay for $41.00

I want to see it when you install it. I have same truck 2001 and its red. I was thinking getting functional hood with scoop which cost a lot more.

Looks good, might want to consider shifting it a tiny bit forward before mounting, IMO
