Vent Visors

I am in the market for some new vent visors, and was wondering what everybody else had and liked, whether in channel or tape on and what are good brands and where the best place is to get them, and what I would expect to pay, Thanks in advance guys.

I have the in channel type and they don't rattle or blow off.
The great thing is you can take them off to clean and also take them off when say your at a game or club and not worry about some one pulling them off like the tapped type.

I had some Wade tape on vents, and didn't really like them, they would start to rattle and you would have to keep pouring the super glue to them, and my passenger side one finally flew off when i was going down the highway

In-Channels

Tape on paint aint my bag. Get the in-channels, hands down.

I have had the AutoVentshade In-Channels that install inside the window channel, but still utilize 3M tape to keep them in place. They are okay.

But for the best, I'd get EGR brand in channel visors. No tape. You bend them, insert into the channel, and they pop into place. The longer they are installed, the more the plastic starts to form to the curvature of the inside of your window channel. They are thick plastic, durable...a winner.

EGR, I have them. The only complaint is that they when I put my windows up, they really slow down at the top. Other than that, they are great. I like the profile, quality, and installation was a breeze.

I love my EGR's. You can get them from just about any online dealer. I got mine from JCWhitney for about $54 including shipping. I installed them in 2 minutes. The fit is pretty tight when you roll the window up close to the top.

My window slows down a lot, too when putting up. I am a bit concerned over long-term effects on my window motors. Mine were made by Draw Tite and got the supercrew set on eBay for around $24 shipped about 4 months ago.

AutoVentshade made some removable in-channel visors called "Quicksnaps" a few years ago that SUCKED. I was hesitant to go down that road again, but the newest in-channels are nothing like those...you'll like the EGRs.
